About Enerjia
Enerjia is a Brisbane-based renewable energy and power systems technical consultancy. We specialize in power system modelling and analysis, development of detailed power plant simulation models, as well as power plant control systems.
We offer a wealth of experience in the on-grid and off-grid power system sectors with a focus on grid-forming battery energy storage technology, with excellent knowledge of the Australian market in particular.

The history of enerjia
Founded
Enerjia was formed in 2021 and is led by Stan Cherevatskiy, who has over 10 years of experience in the renewable space. It was formed after Stan worked on a diverse array of challenging projects for renewable integration, when he learned first hand the importance of expert consultancy so that projects are managed and completed to the highest level possible.

We have a wealth of expertise that we use to pursue our passion of advancing power systems towards 100% renewable energy, using innovative technology and non-conventional thinking, which can be demonstrated by members of our team having developed cutting-edge projects in Australia. Some examples of which are the ESCRI-SA Dalrymple BESS project and Kalbarri Microgrid.

Enerjia understands the challenges emerging from the rapid integration of renewables, where the continuity of supply is of paramount importance. We enable this through a systematic approach and focus on predicting the issues before they emerge in a simulation environment and glean solutions based on this analysis.
Further background on Enerjia's founder: stan cherevatskiy
Stan began his career in renewable energy in SMA Solar Technology Niestetal, Germany working in SMA’s off-grid test center investigating and trialing new inverter hardware and software with the aim to prepare the inverters for market launch.
Later in 2016, he moved to ABB Australia where his career in renewable energy developed extensively. Having worked on projects from 1 MW – 100 MW he learned firsthand the challenges of small scale / large scale integration, in his positions as Senior Consulting Engineer and Sales Engineer.
He spent 6 years working on global and local projects, building his knowledge of power systems with grid edge integration before moving to start his own consultancy business.
Previous to his professional development, Stan studied Electrical Engineering, with a focus on Automation and Control, at the State Technical University, Tashkent, Uzbekistan, and then studied n Karlsruhe, Germany where he received a Diplomingenieur (M.Sc.) in Electrical Engineering from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). His main subject at KIT was Renewable Energy and Power Systems.
